No me dejes
Gerard: No, no puedo irme. No pienso irme más de tu lado. Y si tengo que esperar a que tu corazón se habra lo haré. no me importa nada. Sólo tú.
Esas últimas palabras me llegaron al alma. Esta decición es díficil. Es una batalla entre la razón y los sentimientos, entre mi mente y mi corazón. Cruzó la puerta y se fue. Pero esta vez, no se iba lejos. Se quedaría cerca de mí como tuvo que haber sido siempre, pero yo no iba a impedirle que trabajara, eso no sería justo.
Después de mucho divagar en mis pensamientos, me di cuenta que cuanto más pensaba, más me confundía. Sabía que lo amaba, sabía que me engañó y desconfió de mí y que ahora estaba arrepentido. Y por más de que lo que hizo pesara mucho yo seguía amándolo, como siempre lo hice. La pregunta era ¿Valdrá la pena volver con él? No quiero volver a sufrir. Y si quiero volver hay cosas que aclarar. Estuve todo el santo día en mi pieza, sin salir de ahí, viviendo entre mis pensamientos confusos. Un infierno.

Abrí mi corazón y mi alma, y espero que de resultado. Es que cuando la vi, otra vez. Después de tanto tiempo, sentí otra vez ese viejo sentimiento que estaba adormecido dentro de mi corazón. No puedo dejar de pensar en que la amo con todas las fuerzas de mi ser. Y que no me voy a perdonar nunca si no volvemos a estar juntos como antes. No quiero que me deje, no quiero perderla otra vez. Extraño sus besos, sus abrazos, su ternura. Desde el momento en que la vi me enamoré perdidamente de ella. Es como una droga a la que estoy irremediablemente adicto.
Después de tanto pensar me quedé dormido, hasta que sonó el telefóno.
Gerard: Hola?
X: Buenas noches señor. Hay una mujer en línea que desea hablar con Usted.
Gerard: Pásemela por favor.
X: Como Usted diga Señor.
Gerard: Gracias... ¿Hola?
X: Gee, soy Evelyn.
